For Black women, the weight of systemic racism and inequality leads to chronic stress, health disparities, and premature death. We aim to address these disparities by providing the resources women need to heal and thrive.
1 in 4 Black households live in food deserts, with limited access to fresh and nutritious food.
Black women are 3–4 times more likely to die from pregnancy-related complications.
Chronic stress caused by systemic racism increases hypertension risk by 40% in Black women.
The expectation to always remain ‘strong’ prevents many Black women from seeking help.
